HARRY WAGGONER Obituary
HARRY WAGGONER, JR., 91, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 at his home in Grabill. Born in Indiana-polis, Harry served as a 2nd Lieutenant and B-17 pilot in World War II as a member of the 490th bomber group in the USAF. After returning to the states, he worked at General Electric as a systems programmer before retiring in 1985. He was a member of Leo United Methodist Church, and served on the Board of General Electric Credit Union. He owned a cottage and an RV Park at Jimmerson Lake where he enjoyed wonderful times with his family and friends. He was also a automotive enthusiast and enjoyed his beloved pet poodle GiGi. Surviving are his loving wife of 68 years, Marilyn Waggoner of Grabill; daughter, Carol (Tom) Woodfin of Auburn; son, David (Jane) Waggoner of Grabill; grandchildren, Andy, Aimee, Marc and Beth; 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Frances Waggoner, Sr.; granddaughter, Sarah Waggoner; sister, Frances Muller; and brother, Charles Waggoner. Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice, American Legion Post 409. Hi Carol, I remember your Dad from when we were kids at the Lake. Great momories. He had a good long life as did my Mom who passed last summer at Lake James. Take Care, Greg & Linda Walda

Junior was always a good man who was very caring toward his family and friends. Never knew anyone that had a bad thing to say about him. We had a lot of fun at the lake and at Christmas when we were young. He is a good role model as a good Christian gentleman.

Sorry to hear about his death, always had a good time whenever we were together. We always had fun at the lake and when we would visit in Florida. He will be missed.
