David Cotton was one remarkable mentor & lovable friend. He was 'one of a kind' in so many ways. If you had a party, David would be at the top of your invite list because David MADE the party with his incredible laugh, jolly disposition & loving spirit. He never met a stranger & always made sure no one was left out. He made EVERYone feel like they were important which is such a gift! More than being a stand-up guy, David was an artist, dreamer, poet, philosopher, inventor & so much more! He always gave me the most wonderful advice and it always included the words "You can do ANYthing you set your heart to". I remember this poem he recited to me years ago. i wrote it down & carried it with me: "From each tiny grain of sand, to each gigantic star, Each was made with that in mind--to be just what they are. How foolish to imitate. How useless to pretend. When each comes from a place where limits have no end. I'm glad there's only one of me to share all that i do, & you, my friend, should be quite proud that there's only one of you!!" David Cotton. ---It was a honor & privilege to know your remarkable being. I'll see you in heaven, Sweet Friend! i love you 4ever❤Lisa DiChiara

Thinking of all who love and care for David (sounds weird - he was always Juli's dad to me). He was funny and kind; always ready for a laugh, a bit of mischief, and telling a tale. My husband and I offer our deepest condolences to Juli, his family, and his friends.
Love & hugs.
