Helen Driggers Obituary
SULLIVAN HUNT
Helen Sullivan Hunt Driggers, age 96 of Branford, FL passed away on Thursday May 26, 2011 at her home. She was born in Alton, FL on March 6, 1915, and also lived in Grove Park, FL. She had been a sponsor since 1967 of Aging and Adult of Alachua County.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Melvin Driggers, daughters Irene Cannon of Grove Park, FL, and Iris Hallenbeck of Bronson, FL, son David Colding of Archer, FL, step mother Evilee Dawson of Gainesville, FL, sisters Clelan Fowler of Grove Park, Genene Byrd, Joyce Martin and Loyce O'Steen all of Hague, FL., grandchildren William Robert O'Quinn, Sharon Denise Edwards, Karen Lynn Henderson, David Colding, great grandchildren Ashley Henderson, Tara and Casey Colding, Corey Edwards, Ashley, Aaron, and Tye Henderson, Nikki, and Dustin Edwards, and Kendall O'Quinn, great great grandchild Bailey Edwards, and Niece and caregiver Catherine Koon.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the Peace Baptist Church 7794 East US Hwy 27 Branford, FL with the family receiving friends one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Maypop Cemetery in Mayo, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to the family or to Hospice of the Nature Coast 906 NW Drane Street Branford, FL 32008. im sorry i could not make it to my friends memorial,my mother needed me most ,i know helen would of said go be with your mom,i know mom will be with helen soon,helen i will always remember u ,hope one day ill see u again ,love for ever,my prayers will go out to the familey that loved her,and was there till the end,irene and kat u will be blessed one day

I grew to know Helen after she married my father 17+ years ago. She took him in hand and loved him like no other. When I was able to get over, she always tried to make me welcome. Thank you.

I cannot express how much I miss you so. I know youve gone on to be with those you love and you are in a better place. Though it was time for you to go our hearts are heavy with sadness. I remenber the last time I got to see Aunt Helen she was so proud of that Garden and had to show me every inch of it ... You will truely be missed and I can always walk out my back door and remenber you each time I look at that beautiful tree you gave me 15 years ago ...RIP Aunt Helen

Well now your in heaven smiling down on the family, seeing all the loved ones passed and gone before you. This is your time to shine and be a bright star as you walk through heaven enjoying where you are, giving hugs and kisses. Catching up on ole times and reminisces while letting your sorrows drain with all of gods wishes. Your in heaven where every one misses you, fortunately for us you can pass our love, hugs and kisses right on through. You will be missed by many and loved by all. Rest in Peace because life is short and heaven is internal.

To all the family I send deepest sympathy and condolence to my precious former neighbors who are like family to me. All you were there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. Aunt Helen will be missed and she was blessed with a long life. Her homecoming is a joyous one with celebration with all the loved ones gone before us. Remember the good times and know she is in a better place. Miss all of you.
