HEMMINGER, ERNEST J.

Mr. Ernest John Hemminger was born on February 26, 1920 . WWII Veteran, employed at Metropolitan Buick, Managed Atlantic Service Station for 7 years. Soon after he became a self- taught and certified Electrician for the State of Ohio before moving to Cedar Key, Florida where he spent his retirement years. Mr. Hemminger went home to be with Our Lord on Monday, May 9, 2011, at 8:24pm at the young age of 91 years.

Mr. Hemminger leaves behind a loving wife of 62 years, Helen Hemminger, two daughters, Christina Barnes and Joan Branam and a Son, Ernest John Hemminger, Jr., three grandchildren, Andrew Steven Barnes and wife, Janie Danielle Barnes, Lea Anna Barnes, and Amanda Jo Branam plus 6 great grandchildren, Robert Steven White, Gabriel Andrew Barnes, Mattie Ann Barnes, Lydia Jane Barnes, C. J. Summers, and Brandi Summers. and/or your favorite Military Branch of Service.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00am on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Fl. National Cemetery, Bushnell FL. with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the RED CROSS.

Arrangements are under the care of MORING FUNERAL HOME, Melrose, FL.
