ANTHONY JOHNSON Obituary
JOHNSON
Age 49, Tile Setter with Central Florida Tile & Marble Company, US Army Veteran, & 1979 Graduate of Buchholz High School, died Sunday, May 9, 2010. He was a life-long resident of Jonesville, Florida.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30AM Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Faith Tabernacle of Praise Ministries, Inc. (Gainesville, FL) with Apostle Dr. Larry D. Mitchell officiating. Burial (with Military Honors) will follow at Countryside Cemetery (Gainesville, FL). Mr. Johnson will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at the residence of his Sister & Brother-In-Law - Terrell & Min. Samuel Brown, 1302 NW 170th St, Jonesville, FL at 9:30AM. Family will receive Friends immediately following the Interment at Countryside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
Mr. Johnson leaves to cherish his memories: Wife - Mary Jackson Johnson of Pelham, GA; Son - Anthony D. Johnson, Jr. of Gainesville, FL; Parents - Elroy & Lillie Johnson of Jonesville, FL; Brother - Brothers - Rayfield Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL, Roland "Rosco" Johnson of Jonesville, FL, Aric "Duke" Johnson, Demetric "BJ" Young and Jason Johnson of Gainesville, FL (Reginald Johnson Sr. and Gaffenay Johnson Sr. preceded him in death); Sisters - Terrell Johnson Brown (& Min. Samuel Brown) of Jonesville, FL, Lueann Foreman (& Andrew) of Gainesville, FL, Sharon Roundtree of Daytona Beach, FL and Tammera Johnson of Lake City, FL (Patricia Johnson McClain preceded him in death); And numerous Aunts & Uncles, Nieces & Nephews, Cousins & Friends.

I am a middle school classmate of Anthonys before intergration. I remember him as being a very nice mischievous little boy.. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I knew Pat quite well.
