VELMA LOVELACE Obituary
Velma G. Lovelace, 95, of Old Town, Florida passed away on October 16, 2012 in Gainesville. She was born on July 16, 1917 to George and Ethel Green in Cross City, Florida. She has lived in this area all her life and was a member of the Old Town Methodist Church. She owned her own restaurant at one time. She loved gardening, cross stitching, reading and traveling but most of all spending as much time as she could with her family.
Mrs. Lovelace leaves behind her son; Billy Lovelace, her daughters; Sherry Ragsdale (James Charles), Wanda Ricketson'Jones (H.F.), Celcelia Walker, Janice Dunnam (Ray), 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 10 great- great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Knauff Funeral Home in Chiefland from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 2:00pm at Old Town Methodist Church in Old Town, Florida followed by the interment in Old Town Cemetery.
