Ruth Snyder Bramlett Obituary

Ruth Snyder Bramlett, age 88, of Cornelia, Ga., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Bramlett was born on Dec. 23, 1925, in Franklin, N.C., daughter of the late Odell and Cora Phillips Snyder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Tolbert Bramlett Sr.; she was the last surviving member of her siblings. Mrs. Bramlett was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Ethicon with 35 years of loyal and dedicated service.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Delores Bramlett, Winder; son, Mike Bramlett Sr., Cornelia; grandchildren and spouses, Michael Odell Bramlett Jr. and Leah, Becky Bramlett Smith and Shane; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Bramlett, Sophie Bramlett, Ruger Bramlett, Kayla Smith and Brantley Smith.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, Ga., with Mr. James T. Bramlett Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Ga.
