To Troy’s Family and Friends, I am so sorry, I will miss him forever! When Troy came to play on the Cliff Dwelling’s coed softball team, I have to be very honest I had never seen talent like his before in my life that is until Tom stacked the team with his team of ball players. Those were the best of times, and Troy certainly contributed to the greatness of this team with his warm, sincere personality, and his willingness to be silly on/off the field. I am comforted, a little in having had the opportunity to have known him in this lifetime and to see him again in the next. May your grief be lessoned by the memories and laughter of Troy, God Bless you all!
“ The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing – not healing – not curing – that is a friend who cares.”

My heart goes out to the Gustafson family...Troy built the deck on my home, was just amazing to watch play softball and was one of the funniest people I've ever met. (Those silly mannerisms were simply hilarious!) My children thought the world of him.
God bless you, Troy.

Troy was always a great and smiling friend to so many of us in Grand View. It is nice to read that he had the same impact on people in Colorado as he had in our small little town. I have not seen Troy since we played baseball together, but already I know how much he is already missed. God bless Troy and all of his family at this difficult time. Thanks for the memories Troy! Your friend, Dan

Troy was an amazing friend and teammate. He would do anything for anybody. I will forever be grateful to Troy for his awesome friendship and for being a loyal friend through many things. He was one of a few people I could talk to about stuff because I knew he wouldn't judge me, but be a supportive friend. This was a man of great character and integrity. He should be remembered as such! I miss you already Troy. Love you man.

My sincere sympathies and condolences to Troy's family. I first met him in 2003 when I bought a home in Colorado Springs and was fortunate to be his next door neighbor. We became immediate friends. I miss you, Troy, and I take comfort in knowing that our lives will meet again. You are at peace now. God bless and keep you forever.

My deepest condolences to Troy's family. Quality people like him don't come along very often. It was pleasure to have had him play for me and too have had his and my life cross paths. Peace be with you Troy.
