I was one of Gordon's first paients when he took over from Dr. Gosney in 1961. We played golf every Wednesday for 40 years. It is hard to believe he is gone. Bobbye Raye and I are thinking about his loved ones know what you have been through these last few years.
I have so many memories of Gordon. He was such a friend and partner. Two that stand out are: On a hot summer afternoon at the Danville Golf Club Gordon shot a 69(one under par). It was one of the finest rounds I have ever seen. On another occassion at Virginia Beach he had a hole in one with a shot that never got more than a few inches off the ground.I am going to miss you partner. You will always be my partner Zan and Bobbye Raye Womack

Horace, my husband and I are saddened to hear of the passing of Gordon. I have fond memories of Gordan visiting my parents, Claude and Leona Gilbert Williams. As a young man he loved visiting our farm in the Climax community to hunt. He, always arrived dressed in his hunting clothes and always left with game. We were also blessed to visit with him, his father and mother at Grandmother Gilbert's home. Blessings & Love, Jackie & Horace Towler (Ambler, Pennsylvania)

Our deepest sympathy for your loss of a truly wonderful man, who aspired to so much, and inspired so many.
"Remember me when I am gone away, Gone far away into the silent land, When you can no more hold me by the hand, Yet if you should forget me for a while, And afterwards remember, do not grieve: For if the darkness and corruption leave, A vestige of the thoughts that once I had, Better by far you should forget and smile, Than that you should remember and be sad." To our dearest Father--we love you and miss you so much--we're heartbroken to not have you here but we know you're in God's hands and at peace. Enjoy heaven Dad, where the stocks only go up, where dividends are always high and paid, where beer is "almost frozen" all the time--and where the birds fly low enough to be easily identified as juvenile or adult......thanks for all you did for us through the years in ways you don't even know. You are in our hearts always--each and every day. Much Love Win, Stuart, and Gill.
