Frances Husted Obituary

Husted, Frances M.
Frances Marion Husted (Cripps) 96, passed away on September 10, 2014 at her home in Greenwich, CT. She was born in Detroit, MI. on June 29, 1918. She lived in Greenwich for 50 years, and also at a summer home on Harsens Island, MI for 37 years.
She was an amazing woman with many talents who inspired and made many people better with her positive attitude and unconditional love.
She was an artist, receiving many awards for her work. She attended art school in Detroit, MI after High School. She also attended various art schools in the Greenwich area, in her later years. Frances had a tremendous spirit of adventure and became one of the first airline hostesses for Pennsylvania Central Airlines in 1941. She met her husband Richard M. Husted, a pilot, on the airlines, and they celebrated 70 years of marriage last September. Fran and her husband traveled extensively throughout the world.
She was loved by all and leaves behind her Husband, Richard (97), Son, Richard Husted, Jr. , daughters Christina Husted and Lisa Husted Victory. Her grandchildren Heather, Jenna, Melissa, Steven, Bradley, Nicole and Spencer.
