Mom,
Thank you for giving me so many gifts; just by being who you are.
You taught me to be kind, by being kind.
you taught me not to be a races, by not being a races.
You taught me to love, by loving.
You taught me to enjoy simple things, by enjoying simple things.
You taught me to not judge, by not judging.
You taught me to believe in God,by believing in God.
You opened the doors, I only needed to walk through and choose.
So Mom,take with you the knowledge that you did God's work here and he is pleased...and so are we.
Love you,
Shirley

Mom,
You kept us safe and happy throughout our early years.
You wiped away our childhood fears.
You kept us warm when we were cold.
You kept the secrets children told.
You tried to teach us rather than scold.
You always made us feel young even as we get old.
You loved our children without condition.
Each and every new family addition.
You loved your flowers, you loved your lord.
But most of all it was children you adored.
Thanks for all of the loving memories.
Now rest in peace as you please.
Love,
David
