David Peveler Obituary

DECATUR - David M. Peveler, 69, of Decatur, IL., died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Monday, June 13. 2011 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, where friends may call Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 4-6:00 PM. Burial will be in Macon Co. Memorial Park. Mr. Peveler was born Jan. 25, 1942 in Decatur, IL, the son of Buford Merle & Katherine Baxter Peveler. He was an active member of Local # 65 Pipefitters for 44 years. He was a member of the Warrensburg Gun Club, ,liked to go to the races and played Bass Guitar in country band "Sundown". He married Sheryl Boyd, Oct. 1, 1988. He is survived by his wife Sheryl of Decatur, Sons; Tracy Peveler and Wife Tracy " Little T" of Decatur and David Peveler, Jr., of Decatur. Step Daughter; Bethe Curry of Buffalo, N.Y.. Sisters; Mary Johnson, Kaye Elliott and Husband Roger, Faye Hodge and Husband Mike all of Decatur and Renee Hale and Husband Greg of Maroa. Grandchildren ; Connor Peveler and Donald Carter Bennett. Truley sorry for your loss. Dave is a great man, and always willing to pitch in a hand and help. Always helped me take out the garbage and help out in the cooler. Seen and chatted with him daily, as him and Jim came into Bud's on Green. They always made a good time.
