I served with George in the Florida House of Representatives in 1970. I deeply respected his intellect and integrity. My sincerest regrets to his family.

Though Donna and I feel a terrible sadness just now, I know that in the future I will always smile when I think of George and the fun times we had over the past 45 years.

My deepest sympathy to the Caldwell family. I was lucky enough to see "King George" just about every day I've worked at Kelly's Landing for the past four years. His quick visit, always between 5-5:10pm, was a joy and a highlight of my shift. The entire crew is heartbroken.

My condolences to Bill and Hester and the others in his family. I remember him when he was a student at St. Paul's and at home for vacations and I was an impressionable lad several years younger, and also for some kindness he later showed to my brother.

My condolences to your family. The love, compassion and concern that George has shown for others, are qualities that our Heavenly Father looks for in persons he desire to inhabit his new Earth. May the pain you feel from the absence be short lived, as you await the time to welcome him back in Paradise, free from all cruelty and pain. May that be your desire as it is Gods.
Sincerely,
C.M.

Dear Elizabeth, Alexandra, and George; I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of George. I worked closely with George for several years and grew to understand what a fine individual he was: I enjoyed working with him. I cannot forget:Ecclesiastes 3

and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Very sad to learn about Mr. Caldwell. Coming to visit my wife's family meant looking forward to seeing Mr Caldwell... talking about family... sports... Princeton... children....whatever. Ft Lauderdale wont be the same place without him. I always enjoyed catching up with him. Jeff Pool
