I am so sorry, my daughter and her boyfriend knew your son and I am praying that they will decided that heroin is not worth everything that it takes away from anyone that its got its grips on. Im praying for comfort and peace surround you in this moment and the rest of your life. My hope is that Joel is now at rest and in peace finally free from heroin and that his death will serve as a catalyst for others to break free from the chains of heroin.

When reading your sons obituary I couldnt help but wonder when this might happen to him. I deeply appreciate your bravery for being so honest . I don't know you but saw a post on my friend's Facebook. I am touched by your loss. I have known too many young men that have lost their life to heroin.
