Shirley Ann Larsen
She loved trips to the "River" to go camping, gambling in Reno and Parker, watching all the Seattle sports teams and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; brother, Dale (Ann); sons, Marney (Linda), Robert (Ara), Timothy (Georgi), and Jim (Laura); daughter, Debbie (Kevin), sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to Evergreen Home Health Care Services and Evergreen Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m., on Sunday March 2, 2008, at The Kirkland Woman's Center 407–1st Street, Kirkland, WA 98033.

Well Mom, it has been a year already I can't believe it. This last year brought us lots of babies with the Larsen clan. We are all doing well but the holidays just weren't the same with out you.
Jimbo and I miss you so much and talk about you daily. I know that you are in a much better place and that you are no longer in pain. I also know that you have watched over some of the antic your grandsons have done this last year and laughed at them.
We miss you , we love you and we are eternaly grateful for the wisdom you shared with us.

Well Ma ~
Pa has moved East of the mountains. Jimbo, the boys and I are renting the rest of the house......Jimbo won't let me change a thing in the kitchen.........it makes me smile most of the time.
This house seems so empty without you here.
Kegan and I had a chuckle while picking out fathers day cards and we remembered the "special friend" card that Jimbo got you last year.....you took so much pleasure in giving him a hard time.

You taught me a lot for being my "mom" for such a short time. I will try to continue to live in your example to my children. Kegan, Kyler & Bubba all miss you. You would be proud of Jimbo, he has been handling all of this alot better that I thought he would, he misses you every day. Thank you for being you. Dear Jim, Bob & All:
Sorry I wasn't able to make the memorial yesterday as I had planned. Shirley was always one of my favorite people...she had such a gift for making life fun and people feel important to her. I understand she was suffering quite a bit toward this end of her life so I'm sure you are all at least a little comforted in knowing that that is over for her now. But what a huge hole she must have left in your lives - she was memorable to say the least! God bless and keep her and you all too.
