Bob & I are so sorry to hear of Malcolm's passing. He was always so kind and considerate to us. I will never forget his sweet words to me, as I was holding our 18 month old son, Andy. He said, "I remember the day that that little fellow was born and how we all rejoiced!" Who else could say so much in a sentence? He will be missed. Love, Marian McCann

Dear Barbara, you'll never know how much of an impact you and Malcolm had on our lives. You with your wonderful way of teaching Wendy the violin and Malcomb who first decided to save Lundstrom park and got Greg Robinson and I to chair it! Do you remember those heady days when we took on the city and won to save a much loved and used park? We will miss his sweet smile and good heart. Love from Chris and Bobbie Coray. We are in Denmark right now or we would be there with you.

Just last week, as a friend and I were talking about how fast children grow and are gone, I quoted Malcolm. 35 years ago, in an elementary ed class, Malcolm said, "Sometimes in our home, an Aggie basketball game comes before homework." He then talked about setting priorities, especially those centered around family and making memories. His advice has come to me often over the years. He was also the one to suggest students ought to learn a trade at BATC so they could earn higher wages while finishing college. We, too, took his advice and our son made a solid wage while at USU. Malcolm was a kind man of keen intellect and common sense. He lives on in those students fortunate enough to have participated in his classes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very tender time.

We were blessed to be able to be neighbors with Elwood. His obituary sums up all the characteristics that we observed. Mortality has lost a great spirit and eternity has gained one. Malcom is the type of person we all should want to be when we grow up no matter what our age.

Dear Barbara and Family,
Sorry to hear of our loss. Malcolm was a gentleman and a scholar. He was our role model for everything good and right. He taught us much whether or not he was in front of the class. He will be missed. We would love to come and visit, but we are in Washington D. C.

We love you Barbara, Bruce, Doug and Gordon! Uncle Malcom set a beautiful example of love, courtesy and kindness for anyone who knew him. As his nephew, I was always so impressed with his incredible academic achievements, stature in the community and his devotion to family and faith. Thank you Uncle Malcom for being someone I could always admire and love. I miss you already but am glad that you with your beautiful parents.

Dear Barbara/family,
Such a brillant mind, and what a loving heart. We will cherish the memories we carry of Malcom. We, and our kids, grew up together on Lynwood & the neighborhood. Great times !
We are in St. George, so unable to attend the service; but will think of you and him especially that day.
Our love,
Jim/Linda
