I was deeply saddened to learn of Bob's death. I met him when he first joined the Houston VA Police force and would make police rounds during the evenings and weekends when I was working the same shift next the Emergency Room. Bob was helpful and friendly, and would do anything he could to help a veteran or a staff member who was in need. He continued to be my e-mail penpal and "big brother", combined, throughout the years after my job changed and I had to relocate to another area of the hospital. My gosh, no one can fill the void I will have now. I can only hope that Our Lord Jesus Christ will have much compassion and comfort on all of us who are grieiving the loss of a caring and trusting soul. I certainly believe that Bob is in heaven because he expressed his faith in coversation with me and that he is now experiencing true paradise with God and no pain, sadness or less than perfect eyesight! AMEN!

To the family and friends of Bob Julifs....Bob was a true Patriot..he served in the Army as an MP and in The ANG as an SP and the on to the VA to serve as a Police Officer. Bob loved his job. I had the privelage of being Bob's Chief during his service in the Air National Guard. I served almost 40 years and consider him to be one of the top notch troops I served with. Bob and I have kept in contact for several years via e-mail we exchanged e-mails almost daily and if it was a hot topic more frequently. We loved politics and football for the most part. Bob is a big Pitt fan I a big Bronco fan....that was always a pretty rough week when they played...he was relentless and I suppose I was also....but it ended well...win or lose. Bob is in a better place. Thanks old Soldier/Airman...our country is a better place because of you. God Bless Love ya Brother.

May you be comforted by knowing that there will be a time when sicknesses and death will be no more. Now your dear loved one will be asleep in death until Jesus resurrect him to life in Paradise. This will take place under God's Kingdom rule.
