Don will be greatly missed by my Dad, Henry Smith. He & Don wrote letters and sent cards to keep in touch, back and forth for many years. I often read the letters to my Dad as his eyesight isn't as good as it used to be. I enjoyed Don's dry sense of humor and insight into so many things. His stories brought smiles to both my Dad & I. I believe we are actually distant-type cousins, since Mable(Aunt Mae as I knew her)was a sister to my Great-Aunt Stella. Stella was an Aunt to my mother, Elaine(Rickman)Smith (daughter of Frank & Charlotte Rickman). My Dad and I express our deep sympathies to you. Don lived a full life and touched many people.
