It's been a long time since I had seen either one of them (Michael & Brandon) but they both played a big part in mine and my best friend life's. It is so sad that two good men are now gone from this world. My heart goes out to both families. I remember the first time I met Michael was when he had his jaw wired shut but it didn't seem to effect him at all. All the years I knew him he was always the same. I will never forget the night they both came over to my house off Locust and Michael, Brandon, DJ, & Kyle thought it would be fun to have someone jump the fence and try to ride my neighbors donkey in the back yard. Of all of them it was Brandon of course who decided he could do it and Michael was just laughing saying your stupid bro. Many great memories of my teenage years with the both of them. R.I.P Guys. Love Always

It's been a long time bro bro but I just wanted to say merry Christmas. We miss you so much every day. I do hope you're here with us celebrating with us. A few years have gone by and it doesn't quite feel like yesterday anymore but the hole or emptiness or whatever ppl want to call it is still there. I think it always will be. I'm sorry for sounding so sad please forgive me for that. Now that Brandon is gone too it's just so hard not to think about it all again. I immediately thought of you for some reason after the initial shock. How he loved you too and about the same feeling of this is just not right. Right before Christmas. His babies. Your babies. The fam. Nobody deserves this. Yet, there's nothing we can do about it. It's inevitable. I promise though that I am getting better at this whole thing we call life. And I will keep getting better, bc I know you would want me to. For myself and everyone we love. I will make you proud bro bro I promise. We will meet again someday, somewhere, somehow. And we will be alright. Until then I will try my best not to let you or my little girls down. I love you Michael. Tell Brandon I said I love him too. Merry Christmas guys. I just wanted to tell you I was thinking of you bro bro. I miss you like mom said with every breath I take not a second of my day goes by without us missing you. I know wishing gets us no where but I just wish with every fiber of my being that we could just talk one more time, or one more hug, or something. I know that's not possible but my dreams of you help a little at least. Thank you for that. Mom loves them too, please at least if you can keep visiting us there, until we can meet again. wrote this letter to you son the day after you passed. So hard to think of you being gone now. So hard to believe its been a month now. Feels like it was yesterday.
I had you on January 24, 1986 I was only 17, when I had you. I was scared out of my mind. Not knowing what I was going to do. The one thing I did know is you saved my life. You and I grew up with one another. We taught one another how to become strong and fight for what we thought was right. I made my mistakes along the way, you and I had our conversation about what had gone on, from time to time. You would always tell me "if I cant count on you then I have no one because we always have each others back" I will miss our conversation son and our disagreements. We was a lot a like and we always understood one another. I counted your toes and fingers that morning at the hospital before I had to let you go. I told myself, " I counted your toes and fingers, when you came into this world. I was going to count them before you went back to heaven" I miss you every second son. I am trying so hard. But the second are really hard. Till I see you again. Save mom a place right next to you...I love you always (Me) MOM

Paulette and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Michael had and will continue to have so much love from his mother and family. Paulette, your love for Michael is so deep, I will pray for you. I grew up with Michael a few different places we always wrestled and my brother troy and him were best friends in highland crest. I loved him like a brother. Ill miss you little bro.

I did not have the opportunity to meet Michael but I visited with his family members in the waiting room of the ICU as my dad was there too. I have wondered how he was doing and thought of your family daily since we left to go to the new facility. In the short time there, I saw the love and compassion of strong family members each touched by Michael. May your happy memories provide you with comfort. On behalf of our family, many condolences. Your family will continue to be in my prayers.
