CYNTHIANA - Steven Thomas Parsons, 54, Richardson Lane, Cynthiana, died Fri, Dec 23, 2011, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Harrison County on Oct 17, 1957, to Clarice Dowd of Cynthiana and the late Charles D. Parsons, Sr., he was an electrical contractor, and avid hunter and fisherman and a 4-H shooting sports leader. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard E. Perraut, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Anita Perraut Parsons; a son, Steven Thomas Parsons II, Cynthiana; a brother, Charles Dempsey (Linda) Parsons, Jr., Cynthiana; a sister, Charlene (William) Fritz, Cynthiana; his mother-in-law, Patricia Perraut, Cynthiana; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Emmett "Bubba" and Susan Mills, Frankfort, and Maj. Gen. Richard E. and JoAnn Perraut Jr., Manassas, VA; nieces and nephews, Beth (Jimmy) Withers, Leslie (Nick) McCarty, Sharon (Kenny) Fuller, Julie (Joe) Stomberg, Michael (Jamie) Mills, Jeremy (Crystal) Slade, Allen Wachter, Ricky (Amanda) Perraut and MacKenzie Perraut; and great nieces and great nephews, Daniel Withers, Katie Withers, Nicholas McCarty, Matthew McCarty, Joey Stomberg, Jillian Stomberg and Cheyanne Wachter. Funeral services will be conducted 11am Tue by Bro. Mike Jones at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Mon. Burial will be in St. Edward Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Withers, Nicholas McCarty, Michael Mills, Jeremy Slade, Kenny Fuller, Joe Stomberg, Rick Perraut and Daniel Withers.
