Larry E. Duley

Lancaster:

Larry E. Duley, 69, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Pickering House. He was born on October 8, 1941 to the late Herbert Duley and Ireta (Hardman) Westfall. Larry was a heavy equipment operator for 34 years at Columbia Gas Transmission Co. He was a member of St. Bernadette Church and the Masonic Lodge #57.

Larry is survived by his wife Rose "Ann" of 19 years; daughter Sheila (Brion) Butterbaugh of Franklin, Ky; son Randy Duley of Hurt, Virginia; step-daughter Michele (Kevin) Lawrence of Mansfield, Oh; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Bonnie, Janice and Leona; foster brothers Rodney and Ronzell Somerville.

In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents; foster sister Mary Bush; foster brother Kline Somerville.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, July 20 at 11:00 AM at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Thomas Kessler officiating. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday (today), July 19 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to FairHoPe hospice.

Ann,

I was so sorry to read about Larry. When I told BIll he tried to get home but was unable to leave the job. Bill enjoyed his morning coffee with Larry and the old talks about the cas company. We are thing of you and your family. Larry was a great person. God Bless.
