7 years already; where has the time gone? You are missed my friend. You would be amazed by all the new games out these days but even more so by how your beautiful family loves you. The good people in this world always get stripped from us too soon. Wish you were here James.

Johanna,

I was deeply saddened to learn of James' death and I would like to express to you my sympathies to you and your family. I had the honor of working with James at SACL. He was a highly valuable and respected member of the team and a "rock-solid" colleague.
As a previous manager, I can say James was someone who any manager dreams of having in their employ. He set the bar for dedication and his selfless nature was something many admired and others could only hope to attain. James was kind, honest and a man of great honor and strength. He moved the cause of inclusion forward in great strides and his efforts and contributions will never be forgotten.
Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences and please pass these feelings on to your family. He was a remarkable man and I am a better person for having known him. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
With Sincere Sympathy
Bill Powalinsky – former Executive Director, Sask. Association for Community Living

James, your passing is a great loss for the gaming community, as well as your family.

I am happy that I had the privilege of knowing you and facing you many times across the gaming table. It was always a pleasure just to talk to you as well. I found you to be a true gentlemen, and am very sad that you have been taken away from us. I offer my deepest condolences to your family.

I have had the honour of sharing friendship with James for the past 14 years or so.

Jo, Adam, and Michelle - James was extremely proud of all three of you. He was always sharing stories with us / especially of your accomplishments. He had a geniune love for all of you.

To his parents - Adam and Jeannette, it is not fair that a parent should outlive their child. I am so sorry for the loss of your son.

My deepest sympathies to everyone.

James had a heart of gold and a smile which could light up a room. I will miss him everyday. Playing a game on a Thursday night will never again be the same... Very few people will ever leave a void/sadness inside me (and inside our little board gaming group) like James will.
