William Deo Obituary
Bill was born July 12, 1936, in Wayne, Mich., to Henry and Maude (Thompson) Deo. He was preceded in death in 2013 by his wife, Sharon L. Branch, after 56 years of marriage. He and Sharon married on July 7, 1956, in Addison.
Bill lived his early years in Wayne before moving to a farm in the Churches Corners area near Addison when he was 10 years old. Bill graduated from Addison High School in 1955. He was a member of the Michigan National Guard. He worked on the family farm for many years and at Merillat Industries in Adrian and then retired after working 25 years for the State of Michigan Department of Industries. Bill and Sharon lived in the Hudson area for many years with all four of their children graduating from Hudson High School. Soon after Bill retired, he and Sharon returned to live in the Manitou Beach area. Bill was a devoted fan of Hudson High School and Hillsdale College football as well as Hudson High School wrestling.
Surviving are Bill and Sharon's children, son, Bill (Marge) Deo of Clayton and three daughters, Beth (Mike Fruchey) Deo of Toledo, Ohio, Lisa Deo of Adrian and Leann (Kevin) Gaydosh of Adrian; seven grandchildren, Celeste Morr, Kendall (Ellie) Gaydosh, Robert Deo, Michael (Taylor) Morr, Rachel (Matt) Morgan, Brandon Morr and Whittney (Austin) Mudd; six great-grandchildren, Abbigail Cohee, Breeze Mudd, Sophia Morr, Evangeline Morr, Marvel Mudd and Zane Morr; one sister, Ila Montecalvo; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon L. (Branch) Deo; his parents, Henry and Maude Deo; and two sisters, Doris and Delores.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison. Private graveside services will take place at Green's Lakeside Cemetery, Manitou Beach.

I have known Bill & Sharon since 1949. We graduated in the same class at Addison High School in 1955. He was a real good guy, a hard worker and a good friend. So sorry to hear of his passing.
