Mollie Deo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at the age of 78.

She was born on February 3, 1947, in Basta Hall, Trinidad & Tobago, to Ragoonanan Satram and Rosie Garib, the second of twelve children.

Mollie had a gift for bringing joy to others-her radiant smile could brighten anyone's day. A devoted homemaker, she was also known throughout her community as the neighborhood seamstress. In her younger years, she was the life of the party, full of energy and laughter. At the age of 51, Mollie courageously migrated to the United States, where she worked as a cashier at Walgreens for many years. Through hard work and dedication, she built a meaningful life for herself and her family.

She cherished time with her loved ones, especially attending church, celebrating at family gatherings, and being surrounded by her grandchildren.

Mollie was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Sonny Deo, and her grandson Isaiah Howell. Together, she and Sonny lovingly raised five daughters: Ann Marie (Deosaran) Bhajman, Carol Deo, Sharon (Jason) Howell, Sally Deo (Julio Rios), and Shelly (Jerry) Miles. She was a proud grandmother of nine - O'Neil, Amy, Ishwar, Kelly, Emile, JJ, Bear, Isaiah, and Jordan - and great-grandmother of four - Arjun, Ashton, Eli, and Aarav.

As the eldest daughter of Rosie and Ragoonanan, Mollie was also preceded in death by her siblings Sandra and Bally. She is survived by her brothers and sisters Sookram, Indra, Chandra, Shirley, Jerry, Cita, Shamatee, Robin, and Lil, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Mollie will be remembered as a strong, hardworking woman with a generous heart and a spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

A visitation will take place of Friday, August 29, 2025 from 12:00PM until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00PM at Heritage Fellowship Church in Florence, KY.
