Beverly "Bev" Jo Snider, age 78, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Born on September 8, 1946, in Covington, KY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ed and Millie Snider.

Bev dedicated her professional life to helping others, retiring from Cincinnati Bell after a long and fulfilling career in customer service. Her compassionate and welcoming spirit extended beyond her career into her community involvement, most notably with the Florence Freedom baseball team. Alongside her sister Shirley, Bev co-founded and nurtured the "Host Family Program" from its inception in 2004 until their retirement from the program in 2016 - creating lifelong bonds between players, their families and local families.

A devoted volunteer, Bev was actively involved in the American Cancer Association and participated in The Relay for Life for 17 years. Her love for animals and the outdoors also led her to serve as an Equestrian Cross-Country Fence Judge at the Kentucky Horse Park, a role she cherished for nine seasons.

Bev's warmth, dedication, and sense of service will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her loving sister, Shirley Brown; niece, Lori Snider and her husband David Skaggs; nephew, William Brown; great-nieces, Emily Brown and Amanda Peercy and her husband Jacob; and great-great-nephew, Micah Peercy.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:30 P.M. at Latonia Christian Church, 3900 Decoursey Avenue, Latonia, KY 41015.

Online condolences may be shared via Facebook or at SerenityFuneralCare.com.

Bev's legacy of kindness, commitment, and community spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
