Bonnie Rauh Obituary

RAUH, BONNIE LOUISE (ALEXANDER), 87, of Louisville, died August 2, 2011 at the Episcopal Church Home.

She was a retired medical transcriptionist and a certified gemologist. She was born on October 9, 1923, in South Bend, IN and married Walter F. Rauh in December, 1945.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Walter F. Rauh; her brothers, Eugene and Richard Alexander; and grandson, Daniel R. Rauh.

She is survived by her sons, Michael J. Rauh (Viodelda) and Richard D. Rauh (Susan); her daughter, Susan Rauh Shockey (Claire); grandchildren great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Narthex of St. Luke's Chapel of the Episcopal Church Home, 7504 Westport Road, Louisville, KY, 40222. The funeral service will follow the visitation, starting at 5 p.m. Sunday at Saint Luke's Chapel. Interment immediately following the service will be at St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church Memorial Garden, 6710 Wolf Pen Branch Road, Harrod's Creek, KY, 40027. Arrangements are under the direction of Pearson's.
