Harold Watson Obituary
He was a conservation officer with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife for 22 years before retiring.
Glenn was a member of Westport Baptist Church, Oldham Trimble Baptist Builders and on the board of the Oldham County Conservation District.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Thelma Watson.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya Johns Watson; sons Mica Watson (Jessica Reinbold), Clay Watson (Allye Marquez); daughters Anna and Sara Watson; brother Kenneth Watson (Debbie); sister Sandra Madden and grandson Noah Alexander Watson.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at his church with visitation from 3 p.m. until the service. The family invites all attending to a pot luck dinner following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Noah Alexander Watson in care of PNC Bank, 415 S. First St., LaGrange, KY 40031.

Tonya, so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. I wish I could have had the opportunity to meet him. I have many memories of you and your family during our childhood and youth group years. I hope we can get together someday and share stories.

Tanya WE are so sorry to hear about the lost of your husband. We have so many precious memories of when you all were going to Kirksville BC. You all in the youth department had such good times. Glenn was kind-hearted and loved his family very much. I loved watching him with his grandson Noah. He held him tight in his arms as soon as Noah was born. The last time I saw Glenn he was holding Noah while we were celebrating Noah's 1st birthday. I feel so sad because we have lost a good person. Glenn had a lot of interests. He was concerned about our environment. I will miss him.

We will always remember Glenn for his dry wit, the twinkle in his eye, and his continuous dedication to community service. He always seemed to be in the middle of everything in Westport; from the fire department, to the "Friends of Westport". We can't remember when we first met Glenn. He was always there. Always welcoming. Last time we saw him, he was proudly holding his little grandson. That twinkle in his eye and a look of total contentment. He will be sorely missed.
