Phyllis Caudill Obituary

CAUDILL, PHYLLIS KREBS, 67 of Clifton, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Krebs; and sisters, Mildred "Peanuts" Winebrenner and Cheryl Hope.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles "Chubby" Caudill; her children, Vicky (Jr) Montgomery, Dean (Dora) Caudill, and Brandie Perry; her sisters, Charlene (Newton) Sandfer, Cecelia Rosenbarger, Laura (George) Lun, and Dianna (Frank) Crum; her six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and lastly her grand-dog, Kona.

Services to celebrate Phyllis's life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Friends and family may visit noon until 5 p.m. Saturday.

Expressions of sympathy to Grace Immanuel United Church of Christ.

I was sorry to hear of Phyllis death. I worked with her at the Jefferson County Extension Office. She trained me when I first started there. I remember how reassuring and kind she was. She was a wonderful person. I'll miss her. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Brandie and my Daughter, Kelly Coomer have been best friends for 24 years and I have watched them both grow up together, heard their giggles downstairs at my house when they were young, their stories from Jim Porters, and...we will never forget our 1992 trio to Florida, Brandie and Kelly out on the main strip, flirting with the boys, and Brandie got her CITY and STATE confused on a license plate...I hear you and Kelly still laughing over that It really is ALANTA,GEORGIA Brandie LOL LOL. This is a beautiful family that I am so honored to be apart of for the last 24 years. I considered Phyllis as my 2nd mother and she will be greatly missed and remembered. I will always love her beautiful smile, personality, and spirit. Most of all, love her and Chubby for my dearest best friend, sister; Brandie. This isnt good-bye "Momma" we will all be there with you one day to see and share yet another wonderful atmosphere in which your presence, kind heart and loving soul each and everyone of us felt as soon as we seen you and took into our arms upon arrival and departure. My generation was so lucky to so many wonderful adults ( aunts and uncles ) to look over us! When I look back I only now understand how magical it was!
