Uriah Lauchnor Obituary
Uriah Lauchnor, age 78, formerly of New Philadelphia, PA, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville, PA. Uriah was born in Parryville, PA on May 29, 1931 to Aaron Lauchnor and Clara (Veedor) Lauchnor. He was a greaser and mechanics helper at Joe Cooperavage Coal Company. He was a member of Andreas Fire Company, Kaska Hose Company, and New Philadelphia Hose Company. He was a member of the U.S. Army. and a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: Sister, Fianna Deeter, Bethlehem PA. He is predeceased by two brothers, Carl and Jonathan and three sisters, Emma, May, and Ida. Services: Graveside service at Bensalem UCC Cemetery, Andreas, PA on Thursday, April 8, 2010 (Today) at 3:30 p.m. At the familys request, there will be no visitation. Arrangements by, James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc. St. Clair, PA 17970.
