Berrigan, John B.John B. Berrigan, 25, of Catasauqua, died Wednesday September 24th, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. Born in Raleigh, NC, he was a son of James M. and Dawn M. (Podolsky) Berrigan with whom he resided. John was a 2007 graduate of Catasauqua High School where he was an accomplished athlete excelling in football and track. He had attended Liberty University in Virginia. John worked as a server for Applebee's and enjoyed hiking and being in the outdoors. Survivors: Surviving along with his parents are his sister Jennifer Berrigan of Catasauqua; brothers James J. and wife Alexandra of Lynchburg, VA and Jeremy of Catasauqua; his girlfriend Dani Pechacek of Allentown; paternal grandfather James J. Berrigan of Williamsport, PA; maternal grandmother Jean Podolsky of Texas; aunts, uncles and cousins. Services: Services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, September 28th, 2014 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA 18032. His viewing will be from 1:00pm until 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.

it's hard really to put into words how wonderful of a person john was. He had a contagious laugh and as soon as he'd walk into a room it would instantly light up. John will always be remembered for his caring personality and ability to make any situation a bit better with some humor. He will be deeply missed but i could not be more thankful to have known such an amazing person and call him a friend.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and many friends. He was such a wonderful friend to my brother and I, especially my brother. He was always there to listen, and when you needed a good laugh, he was sure to make you. He had an unforgettable smile and his laugh was contagious.
