I am saddened at the loss of a cousin I never met. My late father, Joseph and Eugene's father were brothers. I was fortunate to meet his father Darrel, his sister Brenda, and our aunt Ida, but never had the opportunity to meet Eugene. My deepest sympathy for his family -

I had the pleasure of working with Eugene and Dora at the Unemployment office in San Jose. Both are wonderful people, Eugene was a confirmed bachelor until he met Dora, then he became a happily married man and proud father. It was a pleasure knowing you.

Dear Dora and Kendra,
What a beautiful service last night. Eugene was quite a character and I enjoyed getting to know him even better through the kind words of his friends. The stories some of them told brought a smile to my face. I shared some of the stories with Glenn when I arrived home from the service. Keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers.

To Eugene's Family
I volunteered with Eugene on the Employer Advisory Council and it was always a pleasure to see him at our meetings. He was always warm and engaging and most helpful to everyone he meet. He was very active in the Veterans portion of our program and extended himself greatly. He will be missed however always remembered in our hearts.
Warmly, Robin Bussolini

Dora and Kendra,
We will always remember Eugene as a friend who was there for us in times of happiness and grief. My tennis, golf and poker buddy. Our families have been friends for years and will continue to be years to come. We'll always remember Eugene as a kind, gentle man who not once displayed any anger or ill-will.
Til we meet again, Admiral.

To Eugene's family,
Although I have only known Eugene a few months, I considered him a friend. He made me feel very welcome when I joined the EDD staff in October and always said hello when he saw me. I took my break with him that fateful Wednesday. It was an honor to know him.
