Sandy & Family,
We were so sad to hear of Jim's sudden passing... he was such a sweet man and we know that his cousin Bill is already missing him dearly. Budgie got the news in Afghanistan and wanted me to send his sympathies along as well. He was very moved to hear of Jim's military honors and was disappointed that he could not be there for his memorial service. We hope that loving memories of Jim will now bring you comfort and strength. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers...
Love and peace,

Sandra,

I was so shocked to hear of Jim's passing. Fortunately Von & Betty sent the obituary to me or I probably would never have known. I can't imagine what happened, but it sounds like it was unexpected. I know how hard it is to lose your spouse. I have such fond memories of the times that we spent together when we visited in Massachusetts and whenever we saw you. Please accept my deepest sympathy and my prayers.

Love, Evelyn

Smith-Miller Family

Dear Bakun Family,
Words cannot express how saddened we were to learn about the passing of Community Connection's biggest angel with a heart of gold. My brother, Gerald "Jerry" Smith was greeted every Wednesday and Thursday with Jim's warm smile and enthusiastic words of encouragement. He was a treasure to all his special clients and their families. Surely Jim has a giant green light straight through the pearly gates for all he's done for God's special children.
Our thoughts and prayers are sent with fond memories of Jim.
Maryanne, Ronn, Geralyn Miller and Gerald Smith

I was deeply sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. We go back many, many years - from being a neighbor, friend and classmate. Jim always had a smile and a big "hello" whenever our paths crossed. Deepest sympathy to Sandy, their family and Irene.

I am both shocked and saddened at the passing of Jim. Jim and I go back to before the first grade, as we did with Oiva Kallio. We had a wonderful youth and remained good friends throughout our lifetime. His sense of humor and personality will be missed. My thoughts are with you Sandy!
