Max Levine Obituary
AGE: 86 • Jackson
Max Levine, 86, of Bella Terra, Jackson, died Sunday, May 1, 2011. Mr. Levine was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., grew up in Howell before marrying his beloved Pennie in 1946 and settling in Lakewood. He was a very generous man, involved in many causes, like the Yiddish Book Club and the Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center. He owned various businesses in Ocean and Monmouth counties. He was survived by his wife, Pennie; sons, Howard and his wife Linda of Howell, and Warren and his wife Madeleine of Mill Valley, Calif.; grandchildren, Kara Wallace and her husband Matt, Eric, Alyx, and Elan; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Brooke, and Reese Wallace.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 3 at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Freehold. Donations to the Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center, 1356 Old Clinton Road, Westbrook, CT 06498, in his memory will be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Belkoff Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood.
