Carol Hastings Obituary
March 20, 1970, Carol married the love of her life, Gary Lynn Hastings. The two celebrated 52 years of marriage building a strong foundation together and leaving a loving legacy for their children and grandchildren. Carol was the loving Mom to Jennifer Rhea Peterson and Bradley Tyson Hastings. Her grandchildren, J.D., Avery, Chance, Becker, and River will carry their Moppy in their hearts as she has left a footprint for each of them to remember.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Carl H. Becker, Jr. and Dorothy Becker, twin brother, Carl Becker, grandmother(s), Laura Becker and Suzie Rhea Dailey, grandfather(s) Carl H. Becker, Sr., and Fletcher Dailey, Sr. Carol is survived by husband Gary Lynn Hastings, sister Linda Rhea Becker, children Jennifer Rhea Peterson, and husband, Keith, Bradley Tyson Hastings and wife, Lauren. Grandchildren John Donald Kelly IV, Avery Rhea Stebens and husband Noah, Chance Hastings Kelly, Becker Owen Hastings, and River Ren Hastings. She is also survived by her bonus mom, Sandra Glenn Becker, bonus brother Kevin Robison and wife Kay, bonus sister Deanna Robison Fields and husband Doug, along with nieces and nephews.
To know her was to love her. Carol lived for our Lord and Savior. She radiated beauty, strength, and selflessness as she represented the good. She lived for her family and loved each of them with her whole heart. Heaven gained the sweetest Angel, and she will be dearly missed.
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
A memorial service for Carol will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628, followed by a reception from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
