Donald Eugene Bartley, 83 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at home surrounded by family.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. Donald was born on April 21, 1940, in Lexington, Missouri to Clemen and Hazel (Evans) Bartley. On November 25, 1961, he was united in marriage to Evelyn “Jewell” Crowder in Kansas City, MO. Donald worked at the GM Leed’s plant for ten years and then retired from Remington Arms in Lexington after 23 years of service in 2011. He was a member of the UAW Local 31 in Kansas City, MO. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Donald enjoyed helping care for his grandchildren and attending their events.
Donald is survived by his wife Jewell Bartley of Lexington, MO; two children, Deborah Graves and husband Bracken and Aaron Bartley and wife Courtni, both of Lexington, MO; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Bartley; 15 grandchildren, Nikki Winkler, Paige Winkler, Tristan Winkler, Kobi Bartley, Taber Bartley, Joshua Bartley and wife Kayla, Tiffany Bartley, Julia Michael, Sabrina Magruder and husband Rick, Cydni Clymore and husband J.D., Dalton Bartet and wife Kathleen, Joshua Graves and wife Becky, Chaz Graves and wife Makala, Gracie Graves, and Gavin Graves; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma Barnes of Odessa, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Clemen Bartley, mother, Hazel Sikes; two children, Mitchell Bartley and Tabitha Bartley; five sisters, Gloria Howard, Billi Ann Straton, Betty Jo Laporto, Florence Foracker, and Loretta Rockhold; and three brothers, Forrest Bartley, J.E. Bartley, and Robert “Bob” Bartley.
