Drew Richardson, 76 of Jacksonville, passed from this life on Friday, October 31, 2025. Drew was the son of Andrew and Ruby Richardson, born in Sanderson on October 1, 1949. He attended Lake City Community College where he received his associates degree. He would work for Seaboard Coastline/ CSX for forty two years until his retirement in 2011. He attended Westside Family Worship Center where he served faithfully as a board member and usher. He also was a member of NAVRE, Unit 41.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glenda Kaye Richardson; and siblings, Lavonia Newmans, Luther Richardson, and Shirley White.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Richardson of Jacksonville; children, Tonya (David) Godwin of Taylor, Amy (Jeff) Davis of Glen St. Mary, Susie (Doug) Buck, Leah Richardson, and Tim Marlow all of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Glenna Kaye (Braden) Gray, Gannon (Bailey) Godwin, Kaylan (Brason) Caley, Hannah Davis, Katherine (Sean) Matheny, Ava Marlow, Caleb Herndon, and Anastasia Elbers; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy (Linda) Richardson, Johnny (Theresa) Richardson, and Gordon (Cathy) Richardson all of Glen St. Mary; and extended family members.
A visitation will be held at Christian Fellowship Temple on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Westside Family Worship Center, 9717 103rd Street, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jimmy Wilder officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Prong Cemetery.
