87 years spent on this earth were spent running the race of life! Jan finished the race on October 31st, 2025, and met our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and our Father God, face to face.
The question she asks, “When you finish your race, will you meet your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ?”
She was a follower of Jesus, and He took care of her and helped her to raise four amazing daughters. Cindy Downen (Brett) of Chattanooga, TN, Gale Summerford (Kent) of Amory, MS, Vickie Renfro Hendricks (Mike) of Hatley, MS, Marsha Son (Wayne) of St. Joe, AR
She was a loving Grandmother to Katy Ballard (Blake), Heather Orso (Robert), Tyler Summerford (Jessi), Greg Renfro (Alana), Savannah Bailey (Jacob), Dr. Bethany Summerford (Dr. Ankur Vaidya), Luke Renfro (Sarah), Heath Son, and Hunter Son.
Her great grandchildren were very special to her. Carson, Kenley, and Chance Summerford, Pamelia, Hattie, and Marylou Renfro, Milee Renfro, and Grace and Noah Bailey.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Billy Anderson, Mother and Dad, Ludie and Jesse Sanders, sisters Doris Mobley and Dawn Roberts, brother Jerry Sanders.
As her final gift in life, she donated her body to science.
Her final question to you, “Is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life?”
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. at Meadowood Baptist Church in Amory, MS with Dr. Lloyd Sweat and Dr. Jim Futral officiating. The family will be available immediately after the service, for a brief time.
Visitation will also be at Meadowood Baptist Church on November 4th, 2025, at 9:30 A.M. until time of service.
