Hartsville, S.C.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Jason Christopher Beasley, age 53. Jason went to his Heavenly Home while at his residence on October 31, 2025 with his loving family by his side.
A Celebration of Life for Jason will be held Monday at 3:00pm at the Kelleytown Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Michael Madaris, Rev. Lin Kirkman and Mr. Tony Marsh will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church
JayBird, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by compassion and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jason is survived by his loving parents, Johnny and Lucille Beasley, and Kathryn Ludrick Miller and his sister Angela Monti Gray (TJ Hilsen) all of Hartsville, South Carolina; his Aunt Jackie (Ray) Chambers, North Carolina; one step brother, Todd (Angel) Chapman, Lancaster and two step sisters, Renee Hill, Georgia and Misty Horton, Hartsville. He was the proud Uncle of three nephews, Doug, Alex and Jon Jon, and one great-nephew, Felix all of Richland, Washington. He also leaves behind many cousins who adored him dearly, and his baby, Midnight the cat.
Special thanks to Kylie Turner; Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, Christy Hyatt; Hospice RM, Nora; CNA, Monica; Home Health Nurse and Joe for furnishing comfort in home.
Although Jason's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. Dear Jason, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Darlington County Humane Society, 580 East Washington Street, Hartsville, S.C. 29550.
