Jerry Travis Obituary
Mulvane – Travis, Jerry Lee, 86, passed away on October 28, 2025. He was born on December 21, 1938, to Charles and Jessie Travis in Wichita, Kansas.
Jerry was preceded in death by infant daughter, Tammy Travis, his parents, and sister Patsy Millen.
He is survived by his children, Shelly Slack (Rod), Todd Travis (Toni), Lonny Travis (Colette), and Scott Travis (Tema); stepdaughter, Tammy Maslow (Danny); 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; 2 great-great grandchildren; a long list of lifelong friends; and his pup, Tippi.
A celebration of life will take place at 1:00pm on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Smith Family Mortuary – followed by Military Honors at the American Legion post 136 in Mulvane.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with American Legion Post 136, Kansas Humane Society – Wichita, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
