Reiley Jean Torix
August 07, 2011- October 09, 2025
Mulvane
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Reiley Jean Torix, age 14, of Mulvane, who left us far too soon on October 9, 2025.
Reiley was a beloved daughter, sibling, grandchild, niece, cousin, and friend. A freshman at Mulvane High School, Reiley touched the lives of everyone who knew her, with friendliness, a bright smile and gentle soul.
Reiley loved hanging out with family and friends, and trying new things, participating in group activities such as basketball, wrestling, and soccer. She had a passion for performance arts and aspirations to become an actress. She loved musicals, especially Hamilton, and Disney movies like Descendents, Zombies, and so many others. Rei most enjoyed spending her time binge watching shows, writing poems and short stories, singing, dancing, making silly videos and tiktoks.
She had a special way of making people feel seen, heard and loved-whether through a kind word, a shared laugh, or a simple, silent presence that made everything feel a little more okay. Reiley was the embodiment of what it’s like to be compassionate, creative, ambitious and charismatic.
She was preceded by her grandmother, Christine Green, uncle Matthew Green, great aunts Karen Fruit, Kimberly Wilson, great grandmother Deborah Fruit, beloved dog, Skooby
Reiley is survived by her parents, Jason and Kimberly Torix; siblings, Laurance Smith, Amirra Torix, and Jamerson Torix; grandparents, Terry Green, Roy and Sherry Torix; aunts and uncles, Terrileeann (Rubin Tapia) Green, Christopher Green, Michael Snyder, Julie Torix, Jean Torix, Teresa Torix, Tanya (Brian) Meredith, Breanna (Mitchell) Jones, Chrystall (Brandon) Shepherd, and Kandy (BJ Tucker) Kite; best friend, Makinzie Tucker; cousins Mylina, Amony, Adam, Liam, Reagan, Lucy, Nathan, Max, Ilarie, Jayden, Samantha, Haley, Ashley, Noah, Geoff, Baylee, Catelynn, and Hanna, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
