Funeral Service for Judith A. Marshall age 81 of Norfolk, Nebraska formerly of Neligh, Nebraska will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Calvary Bible Church in Neligh, Nebraska with Pastor Peter Sample officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery Neligh, Nebraska. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral home in Neligh, Nebraska. Judith passed away October 22, 2025 at Homestead Assisted Living in Norfolk, Nebraska. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.       Judith Ann Kelly was born March 31, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska to Art and Ruth (Workman) Kelly. She grew up in Clearwater, North Platte, and Denver before returning to Neligh in 1961 due to her father’s illness. Judy graduated from Neligh High School in 1962. On May 15, 1967, she married Merlin “Merlie” Marshall in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple lived in Neligh where they raised three children. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working part time at Otter’s Jewelry for many years. She loved Elvis and had the trip of a lifetime when she traveled to Memphis with Lance, Kendra, and Kellie to see the King's home. She enjoyed playing cards, crafts, her many animals throughout the years and visiting with her grandkids. Judy moved to Homestead Assisted Living Community in Norfolk in 2023. She enjoyed being close to her family and received phenomenal care from the wonderful staff at Homestead.

     Survived by her children: Jill (Michael) Holcomb of Norfolk, Nebraska; Lance (Kendra) Marshall of Norfolk, Nebraska; and Kellie (Drew) Schacht of Orchard, NE. Grandchildren: Tyler Holcomb of Wayne, NE, Erica Holcomb of Lincoln, NE, Carly Marshall of Portland, OR, Callen Marshall of Norfolk, NE, Maverick Schacht, Quinley Schacht both of Orchard, NE.

     Preceded in death by her parents Art and Ruth Kelly and husband Merlin Marshall.
