“Heaven Just Received Another Angel”
Julia S. Bridge was welcomed into heaven by our Lord on her 92nd birthday, October 29, 2025. She passed away at Hacienda Oaks Nursing Home in Beeville lovingly surrounded by her family.
A lifelong resident of Normanna, Texas, Julia was born October 29, 1933, to Julian and Maximina (Pineda) Salazar. As a devoted housewife, Julia's life was centered around her family and home. She married Albert R. Bridge on November 1, 1954, and they shared 33 wonderful years together. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a faithful member of Iglesia de Cristo. Julia enjoyed various hobbies including gardening, cooking, sewing clothes and blankets, singing and reading the Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Maximina Salazar; her husband, Albert Bridge Sr.; and a brother, Joe Salazar.
She was a proud and loving mother to Elizabeth Bridge and Albert (Teresa) Bridge Jr., and she found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Anna Liza Warner, Rachel C. Guerrero, Albert (Danya) Bridge III and Samuel Ross (Amber) Bridge. She was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren, along with a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville. The funeral service will be conducted there at 12 o’clock with Minister Joel Serna officiating.
Burial will follow at the Del Bosque Cemetery in Normanna where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Albert Bridge Sr.
Pallbearers will be Albert Bridge III, Samuel Ross Bridge, Mikhail Lane, Julia Faith Bridge, Ashlyn Grace Malhorin and Anthony James Malhorin.
Tristen M. Perez will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Felix Martinez and staff at Hacienda Oaks Nursing Home and to Exclusive Home Health & Hospice for the love and care they provided for their mother.
