Linda Marie Gavin, known affectionately as "Granny," passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, in Bauxite, Arkansas, at age 77. She was born on April 2, 1948, to Tommy and Lettie Cole.

Linda not only approached life head-on as a strong-willed and independent God-fearing woman, but she dedicated her life as a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and poured her heart into creating a loving and nurturing environment for her loved ones. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought an unparalleled joy and laughter into her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tommy Gavin, and her brother Dale Cole. She is survived by her loving daughters, Darsha Walden (Kevin) and Lisa Stokes; grandchildren, Gavin Walden (Alaina), Maddie Walden (Austin), Tyler Stokes (Hannah), and Ansleigh Davidson (Lee); siblings, Sherron Warner, Geraldine McGuire, Basil Cole, and Vance Cole; great-grandchildren, Fletcher and Blaire Walden, Westin Parker, Lyla and Cain Stokes, Rayleigh and Oakleigh Crum, and Kailey and Skyla Davidson.

A visitation will be held on Monday October 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205). A 12:00 PM graveside service will be held the following day on Tuesday October 28, at Pinecrest Cemetery (7401 Hwy 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Carti Cancer Center.
