Patricia Lynn Scott, 69, of Muncie, passed away at Ball Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. She was born on February 13, 1956, in Burkesville, KY, to the late Amos and Allie (Staley) Scott.
Patricia's life was a tapestry woven with threads of compassion, creativity, and laughter. With a heart full of love, she dedicated herself to nurturing not only her own children but also her grandchildren and siblings. Her influence reached far and wide, and she went out of her way to lend a helping hand to those in need, ensuring that everyone she encountered felt the warmth of her affection.
Patricia delighted her family with her exceptional cooking. She was famous for making the best food. Beyond the kitchen, she engaged in her passions for crocheting and quilting, creating cherished blankets for all the new babies in the family.
Patricia had an endearing charm and enjoyed collecting all sorts of chicken memorabilia. Her love for movies provided countless hours of entertainment, as she shared her favorites with family and friends.
In a digital age, Patricia also embraced the world of Facebook games, finding joy and connection through her favorite pastime, Happy Acres. She had a remarkable ability to listen, offering a good ear to those who needed to share their troubles or joys.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ericka Gosser and Adam Scott; her grandchildren, Jared Gosser, Alex Stanley, and Allie Stanley; siblings, Joan Crow and David Scott; aunt, Phyllis Staley; cousin and “love of her life”, Sherry Smith; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings, Gail Haisley, Vicky Scott, and Jack Scott; nephew, Conner Haisley; brother-in-law, Kris Crow; and several other family members.
