Ramon Fernando Guerra, age 88, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and a proud veteran serving in the 101st Airborne Division who will be dearly missed. Ramon is preceded in death by his parents: Enrique Guerra and Juliana Guerra as well as his wife: Maria Guerra. He is survived by his daughters: Irma Alvarado (Charlie) and Deborah Flitman (David), his grandchildren: Christine Maldonado (Manny), William Daugherty (Lauren), and his great-grandchildren: Jordana Maldonado, Dylan Daugherty, Jack Daugherty and Benjamin Daugherty. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes-West with a Holy Rosary to commence at 11:00am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00pm at St. Patrick Cathedral with a graveside at 2:30pm at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
