Selestino Salazar Obituary
Selestino "El Cake" Salazar, age 75, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2025, in Hondo. Selestino was born in Hondo, Texas on May 19, 1950, to Andrea and Felix Salazar.
Selestino is preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Andrea Salazar; and sisters: Josefina Ramirez, and Maria Villa
Selestino is survived by his loving wife of 56 years: Katerina Salazar; sons: Gary Salazar (Amy), and Rene Salazar (Katherine); daughter: Jennifer Rivera (Jorge); sisters: Paubla Salazar, Sylvia Ramirez (Raymond), and numerous adopted sisters, and step-brothers; 9 grandchildren: Ashton and Catherine Grace Salazar, Brian Musquiz, Derek Rivera, Cassandra Magnus (Matthew), Annalisa, Maygan, Miya, and Keegan Salazar, and 1 great-grandson: Kaeden.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hondo Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by recitation of the Rosary at 1:30 p.m., a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., and will conclude with interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
