Cremation SourceShelley Mae Flores-Aguinaga passed on October 26th, 2025 at 54 years old. Shelley fought a tough battle but she was surrounded by her loving family till her last moments... On December 9th, 1971, Shelley was born to Pansy Mae Buchholtz & Robert Aguinaga in Lapeer, Michigan.
She was a wonderful mother to her two beautiful children, the late Isaak Flewallen & Samantha Flewallen. She was the youngest child of 4 children, Darin Aguinaga (Aimee), Mark Aguinaga (Betty) & Doreen Gundlach (Robin), Along with her honorary sister Alicia Aguinaga who is her cousin. As well as a devoted Aunt to multiple wonderful nieces & nephews. In 2007, Shelley met her soulmate Fernando Flores-Castellanos, married for an amazing 18 years. She was blessed with her godmother Emily & godfather Chris.
Shelley worked as an accountant at a non-profit immigration office, where she helped a lot of people. Shelley was well known as an amazing & kind woman, always striving to make everyone smile & echoes of laughter throughout everywhere she was, whenever someone needed a helping hand she would never hesitate to help in any way she could. Some of her favorite things to do were singing and dancing as well as being around family and friends.
Shelley will be celebrated in life at Fraternal Order of Eagles in Royal Oak, Michigan on November 9, 2025 at 1pm until 5pm. If you would like to help and donate to the family to help with any costs you can donate at the event where there will be a box for donations.
