Mr. William Harold Ramey, age 76 of Summerville, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at his residence.
Mr. Ramey was born in Lafayette, Georgia on January 6, 1949, son of the late William F. “Red” Ramey and Bertie Louise Nichols Ramey. He was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills and following his retirement, had worked at Trade Day.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ramey; sister, Nancy Owens and a brother, Larry Ramey.
Mr. Ramey is survived by a daughter and her fiancé, Tina Fowler and Jim Brock; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Hubert Adkins; granddaughters, Haley Fowler and Devin Bohanon, Sarah and Jayden Ledford and Kayla Ramey; grandsons, Ryan and Sydney Fowler, Matthew Fowler and Allen Ramey; great grandchildren, Emory Ledford, Ivana Ledford, Reid Fowler and Izzy Christian; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside and Interment Services for Mr. Ramey will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. in the Lyerly Cemetery with Rev. Sanford DeBerry officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael “Peanut” Grogan, Matthew Fowler, Ryan Fowler, Devin Bohanon and Allen Ramey.
In accordance with Mr. Ramey’s wishes, there will be no visitation and those attending the graveside services are asked to assemble at the Lyerly Cemetery.
