Teresea Mae Ramey, 58, of Remington, IN, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at IU Health Arnett Hospital. She was born in Rensselaer, IN on August 15, 1967, daughter of Glen Allen Webb and Vera Mae (Myers) Webb.
Teresea was a 1986 graduate of Rensselaer Central High School. She went on to earn her associate’s degree in psychology from Vincennes University. Many might remember Teresea from her years of waitressing at Hudgeon’s House, and later Devon’s Restaurant, a job she really enjoyed.
Teresea was very talented in craft making, crocheting and scrapbooking in particular. Her favorite colors were purple and pink and she loved dolphins. She loved to read and her favorite author was Stephen King. She was also a big movie buff, her favorites being Titanic and Braveheart.
Teresea is survived by her five children: Joshua (Mercedes) Webb, Jeremy Ramey (Dawn Adams), Jacob Ramey (fiancé Jeff Balser), Jacqueline (Randy) Culbreth and Jennifer Ramey; four grandchildren: Isabella Webb, Isaiah Gentry, Nicholas Ramey and Piper Culbreth; her two cousins, who were more like her sisters, Lori Aichner and Elizabeth “Shelly” Burdett; and her former husband, Charles Ramey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Vera Webb, and her brother, Donnie Webb.
The family is planning a celebration of Teresea’s life for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the family with final expenses may be made to Steinke Funeral Home.
