Though I do not remember Jackie in high school or met her in the last 50 years, I've learned so much about her through her book. She was a brave and courageous person who believed in the power of prayer and others; who fought so hard to end her struggle and find a cure. Her faith was awesome. My deepest condolences and may God bless her wonderful supportive family. Shelby Thompson Chandler, Class of HCHS 1960, Chesterfield, VA

To The Family,
I was very sorry to read about your loss. I hope you can find comfort in the words found at Isa. 33:24 which say that soon non one will say 'I am sick.' You have my deepest sympathies.
